【Reminder】Internet Pharmacy Service of Pharmacy Department

Combining our hospital’s own advantages, the Department of Pharmacy has launched Internet pharmaceutical services for more than two years since March 2020. Under the new situation of the epidemic, the Department of Pharmacy has improved Internet services to provide more gynecological patients with more Convenient and fast pharmacy support. The department is equipped with a multi-disciplinary background team to carry out remote MTM pharmaceutical services in obstetrics and gynecology 24 hours a day. As of May 12, 2022, it has served 2,368 patients and provided pharmaceutical services for 2,676 person-times.

1. Establish an Internet pharmacy service platform,

Realize obstetrics and gynecology pharmaceutical services

“Real-time” and “personalization”

Patients who visit our hospital only need to scan the “service number” for information association. After the doctor writes a drug prescription for the patient, the Internet pharmacy service platform of the Ministry of Pharmacy will push the drug guidance information to the patient in real time. In addition to obtaining medication knowledge by themselves In addition to voice interpretation, patients can click the “Ask Pharmacist” icon to enter the obstetrics and gynecology MTM service platform (Figure 2).

After entering the Internet pharmacy service platform, patients can further choose an online pharmacist for one-on-one communication. In order to protect the privacy of patients and ensure the quality of pharmaceutical services, through platform information checks, the pharmaceutical service model of patient privacy desensitization and medical information exchange is realized. Patients can communicate with pharmacists on individualized pharmaceutical issues through text, pictures, videos, etc. Our hospital Multiple clinical pharmacists receive patient questions online 24 hours a day. After receiving the reminder, the pharmacists will answer the patients as soon as possible. After the MTM pharmacy service is over, the patient can evaluate and give feedback on the pharmacist’s service content (Figure 3).

Patients from other hospitals can follow the official account “Ministry of Pharmacy”, click “Online Medication Consultation” in the “Pharmacy Service” module in the lower left corner, and enter the obstetrics and gynecology MTM service platform for medication consultation (Figure 4) .

1. Carry out online pharmacy consultation and remote medicine collection

The Pharmacy Department launched online pharmacy videos, and several pharmacists in the Pharmacy Department provided related pharmaceutical services online (Figure 5). Patients can enter the smart hospital service platform of our hospital through the “Online Consultation” module in the “Service Account”, register for the “Drug Therapy Consultation Clinic”, and conduct graphic and video consultations.

1. Establish a pregnancy drug registration platform

The Pharmacy Department of our hospital has established a precision drug research center to carry out precision drug clinics and drug treatment management clinics. As the lead unit, it undertook the 2018 and 2019 clinical pharmacy research projects of the Beijing Pharmaceutical Association, drafted and published the “Expert Consensus on Registration of Drugs for Pregnancy in China” (Figure 6), and built a platform for registration of drugs for pregnancy in Beijing (Figure 7).

Combining its own advantages, the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Affairs has carried out relevant explorations on pharmacy issues in obstetrics and gynecology. In 2022, it will be approved for 3 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 1 project from the Beijing Natural Science Foundation of China.

The Department of Pharmacy has made considerable progress in platform construction, personnel training, service level, and scientific research improvement through the development of Internet pharmaceutical services. In the future, the department will further combine the hospital’s own characteristics, reasonably respond to the new requirements of the epidemic situation, develop Internet pharmaceutical services, and better serve obstetrics and gynecology-related special drug users.
