Amazon releases new and upgraded 'Account Status Rating Tool'
Recently, Amazon launched its newest tool for sellers - a fully upgraded “Account Health Rating” function.
The comprehensively upgraded Account Health Rating can help sellers better comply with Amazon’s policies and ensure account health. Account Status Ratings will be available first on Amazon’s US and Canadian sites in August, and will roll out globally in 2023. The newly upgraded “Account Status Rating” helps sellers to fully understand their account status through the simple and easy-to-understand display of seller account values, and presents sellers according to the three statuses of “healthy”, “risky” or “unhealthy” defined by the value Current account status.
First, sellers say they are more interested in knowing the health of their overall account than a series of violations that could lead to account suspension. The new Account Health Rating is one such tool that provides a comprehensive picture of account health, and will be a determining factor in Amazon’s account suspensions for accumulated violations.
Second, if there are obvious violations that affect a seller’s Account Status rating, sellers can clearly see the severity of each violation to ensure sellers can prioritize the more serious violations.
Third, we also learned that sellers want more help from Amazon to better understand and comply with Amazon Marketplace policies. So we’re also working to make it more efficient for sellers to reach Amazon if they need help or have questions. Now, Amazon’s Account Status support team can help sellers by phone or email.
